1. Eligibility

To participate in this raffle, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of ticket purchase
  • Must be a resident of Alberta, Canada
  • Employees and immediate family members of the Alberta Conservation Association are not eligible to participate
  • Must comply with all applicable Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis regulations

2. Ticket Information

Ticket Sales

  • Ticket Price: $10.00 per ticket
  • Total Tickets Available: 995 tickets
  • Total Value: $9,950.00
  • Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis
  • Sales period: September 26, 2025 - December 26, 2025 (or until sold out)

Purchase Limits

  • No limit on the number of tickets per person
  • Each ticket purchased increases your chances of winning
  • All ticket sales are final - no refunds or exchanges

3. Prize Information

  • Grand Prize: $3,780.00 retail value prize package
  • One (1) grand prize winner will be selected
  • Prize must be accepted as awarded - no cash alternative
  • Prize is not transferable
  • Winner is responsible for any applicable taxes

4. Draw Details

Draw Date and Location

  • Date: December 26, 2025
  • Location: Taber Community Hall, Taber, Alberta
  • The draw will be conducted in accordance with Alberta Gaming regulations
  • The draw will be supervised by authorized representatives

Winner Selection

  • One ticket will be randomly drawn from all eligible entries
  • The winner will be contacted within 5 business days using the contact information provided at purchase
  • Winner must respond within 30 days of notification
  • If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond within 30 days, an alternate winner may be selected

5. Winner Responsibilities

  • Winner must provide valid government-issued photo identification
  • Winner must sign a Declaration of Compliance and Release form
  • Winner must correctly answer a skill-testing question
  • Winner's name may be published on our website and promotional materials
  • Winner must arrange prize collection within 60 days of notification

6. Use of Proceeds

All net proceeds from this raffle will be used for enhancements to the Pheasant Release Program in Alberta, as operated by the Alberta Conservation Association.

7. General Conditions

  • The Alberta Conservation Association reserves the right to cancel or modify the raffle if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary
  • In the event of cancellation, all ticket purchasers will receive a full refund
  • All decisions made by the Alberta Conservation Association regarding this raffle are final
  • This raffle is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations
  • By purchasing a ticket, participants agree to be bound by these rules and regulations

8. Privacy and Personal Information

  • Personal information collected will be used solely for raffle administration and winner notification
  • Information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • Winner's name and city may be published for promotional purposes
  • Personal information will not be sold or shared with third parties

9. Limitation of Liability

The Alberta Conservation Association, its directors, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:

  • Any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in this raffle
  • Any technical malfunctions or failures
  • Any errors in ticket processing or draw procedures
  • Any disputes regarding prize value or quality
